يرحب الأزهر الشريف بالقرار الصادر عن #مجلس_الأمن الدولي الداعي إلى وقف العدوان على #غزة خلال شهر #رمضان المبارك، مطالبًا بمواصلة الضغط الدولي والشعبي لتنفيذ هذا القرار، وكبح جماح العدوان الصهيوني الذي تمادى في قَتْلِ الفلسطينيين العزل وتجويعهم وارتكاب أبشع المجازر والمذابح في حقِّ الأبرياء.
ويؤكِّد الأزهر أن هذا القرار قد تأخَّر كثيرًا بسبب تعنُّت بعض القوى العالميَّة التي دعمت الكيان الصهيوني، إلا أنَّ الضغط الشعبي العالمي، وبخاصة في أوروبا وأمريكا، أحرج الدول والأنظمة الداعمة للكيان المحتل، وأجبرها على التراجع، معربًا عن أمله في أن يؤدي هذا القرار إلى وقف دائم للعدوان، وانسحاب كامل لقوات الاحتلال من قطاع غزة، والسَّماح بوصول المساعدات إلى الفلسطينيين.
ويُعربُ الأزهر عن تقديره لكل الشعوب والدول والمؤسسات المنصفة التي مارست أقصى درجات الضغط لاعتماد هذا القرار، مطالبًا باستمرار العمل، والضغط من أجل محاكمة مسؤولي الكيان الصهيوني على ما اقترفوه من جرائم حرب وإبادة جماعية في حق الفلسطينيين، والتكاتف لإغاثة المدنيين في غزة، وتكثيف إرسال المساعدات الإنسانية بشكل فوري إلى كامل قطاع غزة؛ من خلال كافة الطرق والمعابر، لكسر هذا الحصار الظالم ووقف المجاعة التي يتعرَّض لها أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني جراءَ استمرار هذا العدوان الغاشم.

Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif welcomes the UN Security Council’s resolution calling for an end to the aggression against Gaza during the sacred month of Ramadan. Al-Azhar thus calls for continued international and popular pressure to implement this resolution and to curb the Zionist aggression that has continued to kill and starve defenseless Palestinians and commit the most horrific massacres and genocides against innocent people.
Al-Azhar also confirms that this decision was long overdue due to the intransigence of some of the world powers that support the Zionist entity, noting that global popular pressure, especially in Europe and America, has embarrassed the countries and regimes supporting the occupying entity and forced them to pull back. So, Al-Azhar expresses its hope that this resolution will lead to a permanent cessation of aggression, a complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, and allowance of aid access to the Palestinians.
Moreover, Al-Azhar expresses its appreciation to all the fair peoples, countries, and institutions that exerted the utmost pressure toward adopting this resolution, calling for continued work and pressure to prosecute the officials of the Zionist entity for the war crimes and genocides they have committed against the Palestinians. It also invites all to join hands to provide relief to civilians in Gaza, and to intensify the immediate sending of humanitarian aid to the entire Gaza Strip, through all roads and crossings, to break this unjust siege and stop the starvation that the Palestinian people are suffering as a result of this continued brutal aggression.
